VIKRAM, MAOIST BUTCHER ALIAS ARNAB DAM


Kolkata:Arrested Maoist leader Vikram alias Arnab Dam is said to have told his interrogators that bought a plot of 1.5 cottahs in Asansol, where he was living as a labourer before his arrest from Biramdi railway station in Purulia. According to police sources, Vikram has told his interrogators that the Ayodhya squad in Purulia was dismantled in March, 2012. “The squad had a fund of Rs 40 lakh. After the squad was dismantled, the fund was divided among its 12 members according. Vikram got a share of Rs 1.9 lakh, which he used to buy a plot in Asansol at the rate of Rs 55,000 per cottah. He revealed this during the interrogation,” said a senior police official.
